When you gotta go

Just when you thought you'd seen everything in Daytona, you look up to find "Limosine 2006" the mobile sidecar outhouse built by a couple of Canadians with waaaay too much time on their hands over the winter.

Built with the back half of a Suzuki Katana, the front half of a quad, a bathtub for a sidecar an a weathered wood outhouse for a cab, the thing was a rolling crowd magnet. Features include a working shower, a somewhat usable toilet (if you have to ask, you wouldn't understand) and an authentic roll of toilet paper.

The builder/driver, Claude Roussel of Quebec, and the artist who airbrushed an elaborate ocean scene inside the bathtub, Guy Symard, were clearly enjoying themselves, waving, giving thumbs up and happily posing for photos with people who gathered around.

And gather around they did. It was bad enough when it rolled down A1A, causing passing riders of passing motorcycles to wobble down the road while double-taking the unique contraption. But when the pair rolled onto the beach for a photo op, the flash mob that formed was truly impressive.

"We do it for the fun,'' said Simard, who, as a French Canadian speaks only a little English. "We heard of the Rat's Hole show, and wanted to enter.''

"Yeah,'' said Roussel. "This is too great!"

A crowd gathers quick.

The "bike" includes a working shower and sink.
