2009 AMA Congress Recommendation

Recommendation:

The AMA should provide a way to verify AMA membership online to event promoters.

Reason for recommendation:

For events that have online or mail-in pre-entries, this would allow the event promoters to verify the entrants'' AMA memberships days before the event takes place. Often riders leave their card behind and have to go back to get it. If the promoters are one step ahead of them by already verifying their membership in advance, it can speed up the entry process on the day of the event.
