2009 AMA Congress Recommendation

Recommendation:

Recommend that the AMA initiate a family membership program. The AMA has been "working on this" at least 10 years.

Reason for recommendation:

To encourage families with several kids racing to participate in AMA racing. With several kids and an adult racing, it becomes cost prohibitive for a lot of families buying yearly AMA memberships that cost hundreds of dollars. This will bring in younger members, a good percentage of this group will continue their memberships as adults.
