2009 AMA Congress Competition Proposal

Proposal:

Remove: Recognized districts must submit any supplementary regulations to the AMA for approval.

Replace with: Recognized and non-recognized districts, and organizations within the districts must submit any supplementary regulations to the AMA for approval prior to the first event of the year. Failure to do so may result in permanent loss of sanction.

Reason for proposal:

This helps reinforce mandating approval of the supplemental rules and it will give the AMA the opportunity to make corrections and recommendations for supplemental rule changes that are in direct conflict of the rulebook.
